How it works

The same plan, two ways to read it

A plan is one thing seen two ways. On the left you write the run: order the steps, mark missables and branches, check them off as you play. On the right you see it: the whole route at a glance, where it splits, where it rejoins, what is left. Both are live below, running a real Resident Evil HD 100%.

Questions, mostly answered

Yes. No paywall, no tiers, no upsell. If that ever changes, this answer changes first.
Read-only: your owned games list, your unlocked achievements, and your public profile (avatar / persona name). Nothing is written to your Steam account: your Saves Are Vaulted Entirely in NextSave's database, never on Steam.
So the planner can show your library and know which achievements you already have. Without sign-in, every plan would be a blank slate. You can browse the demo without signing in to see what the product feels like.
Not by default. Plans are private to you. Public sharing is live: an opt-in toggle per plan (private, unlisted, or public), never automatic.
Trackers are retrospective: they show what you’ve already done. NextSave is prospective: it helps you decide what to do next. You can absolutely use both.
Yes. Account settings has a one-click delete that wipes your user record, sessions, plans, and links. Steam never knew you were here.
No. Nothing can. But you'll at least see exactly how doomed you are, neatly organized into a route you can actually follow.
Because we cache it instead of calling Steam on every page load. Steam's API has a shared daily request limit, and pulling everything live would burn through it and feel sluggish, so each piece refreshes on its own timer when you actually look at it: achievements for a game you open within a few hours, your library once a day, your profile weekly, and your 100% list scans in the background. Want it current right now? There's a manual refresh in your account.
